Our lesson program was established as an opportunity for both children and adults in the area to learn how to ride in a safe, professional and fun atmosphere. We have qualified instructors for all levels of riding. Lessons begin at the early age of 5 years old and up. Our lesson ponies and horses are safe, honest and trustworthy. When you arrive at WillowMay Farm we want to help you learn the skills necessary to ride. We will teach you how to tack up a horse, the care of tack, how to groom a horse, how to ride,  horsemanship skills as well as mounted exercises, eventually given the chance to compete if that is your goal. We care about you, your safety and your well-being.  Most of all we like to have fun in a safe, friendly and encouraging environment!

We specialize in personalized riding instruction to meet individuals' requirements and goals. All levels are taught from beginner through advanced both in flat work & jumping. Dressage or just plain old trail riding

At  WillowMay Farm, beginners get a solid foundation in hunt seat equitation and classical riding.  Students can expect a pleasurable and safe learning experience from our personable staff and team of oustanding school horses. Our program is hands on, teaching riders to care for their horses and tack, learning to ride and having fun. We offer private and small group lessons for individual attention.

More advanced students may lease a horse and begin to practice outside of formal lessons, and can further enhance their skills by periodically traveling with WMF members to competitions.

Many of our riding school students have graduated from the riding school and gone on to be successful competitors and horse owners. Whether riding is a childhood pastime, a return to the sport, or the fulfillment of a lifelong dream,  WillowMay Farm's quality horses and ponies can take you there.
